TVR's are prone to chassis rot. You can have the cleanest car bodywork but your chassis could be literally falling off the car. The main reason for this is the Powder coating on the chassis can get chipped due to road debris being thrown up from the wheels. If caught early you can prevent any major work such as body off chassis restoration or replacement.

Here at SP Automotive we can locally treat the rust by removing any corrosion back to bare metal, we then use a chemical rust preventer and zink prime the metal work stone chip the required areas and then re-paint the chassis using 2 pack paint. You also then have the option to wax oil  the whole chassis or use a stone chip pint in the areas that get the most debris thrown up on to them.

We also offer full body off chassis restoration for cars that require a full overhall. In this case the full chassis and suspension will be removed, sandblasted back to bare metal, all repair work carried out using the same guage and diameter steel and repainted in any colour of your choice.
